Dentures are acrylic teeth fused to an
acrylic plate or chrome frame which sit on
the gums to replace missing teeth. They
can involve a single tooth, multiple teeth
or a full set of teeth.
The benefit of paying more for private
dentures is that they look more natural
than NHS dentures.

Upper Partial Acrylic Denture
1-3 teeth                                £200-£400
4-8 teeth                                £225-£450
9 or more teeth                      £285-£500

Full Acrylic Denture
Upper or Lower                        £275-£550
Full Set Upper and Lower        £475-£700

Cobalt Chrome Denture
A cobalt chrome denture has a metal
framework and so is stronger than
acrylic. It clips onto existing teeth and
therefore has better retention.
With the invention of Valplast these
dentures will eventually be obsolete.
